We helped grow Pepsi share in historically low share markets by developing co-marketing events which leveraged the strength of PepsiCo brands and local sponsorship opportunities to create unique and proprietary programs for key accounts:

Albertsons asked Pepsi to provide a large scale consumer-driven marketing event exclusively for Albertsons to help draw shoppers from Kroger and Safeway in key markets.  We married PepsiCo brands Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, Gatorade and Frito Lay under the PepsiCo NFL sponsorship to develop an interactive consumer loyalty program which rewarded Albertson’s shoppers for purchasing participating PepsiCo brands with Albertsons Gift Cards and a gave shoppers the chance to win NFL Super Bowl tickets.


Results:
Albertsons overall CSD volume increased 16% vs year ago during the 8 weeks of the promotion.  Participating brands experienced volume growth from 12% to 80% vs year ago.
